Ok, so I sent in an entry to the British Animation Awards Stings Competition, and now it's in with an actual real chance of being selected! I just finished upping the audio quality so the sound is amazing, all of the parts are in place, all that I'm waiting on now is the updated Author pages section for the menu, and it will be complete! It's weird thinking that I've been taking part in the Sketch Collab for 6 years - the only person to take part in all of them - and now it's coming to an end. This Sketch Collab will be the last that I lead, and unless someone who I trust to do it justice and has taken part in it previously steps up to take over, it'll be the last one ever.

Hope we can give it a good send off. :)

So, yeh, I'm gonna get a script together and then work out what the hell I need. This doesn't mean I'm not working on the Sketch Collab too, it's just that there's less that I need to do for that, so I thought this might be a better way to get more animation practice in.

If I'm going to do animation as a job, I need to get good at it, and currently, I'm only just "good enough", which is not "good", only just above "adequate", and far from "great". So, this is my plan:

Plan A
Script Completed - 8th April
Storyboard Completed - 6th May
Voice Acting Recorded- 27th May (to be done over half-term)
Animation Completed - 30th June

Plan B
Script Completed - 15th April
Storyboard Completed - 27th May
Voice Acting Recorded - 30th June (to be done during study leave)
Animation Completed - 10th August

ABSOLUTE DEADLINE FOR WHEN I WANT IT COMPLETED:
30th August 2012

If I miss a plan A date for a given section, I don't switch the whole plan to plan b, just that section. So if the script's not done by 8th April, I'll aim for 15th, but I'll still try and get the storyboard done for 6th May. Is that clear enough?

I'll update on this more as I get more time for it.
