You forgot to put the boil trick on everything. ^^
I'm a 20-something British animator based in Halifax, NS. I've been animating since I first found Newgrounds, and am now a graduate with an Animation degree. I've worked for Sun and Moon Studios, A Productions and the BBC, and I hope to do a lot more!

We all do things when we're bored. By the way, when are you making something for Newgrounds again?
Not sure. I've got the second Rick and Rooster short storyboarded out, but because of university soaking up most of my time, that's been put on the back-burner.
Judging by the video, you're approaching good animation in a way that results in a lot of unnecessary work. If you use easing, overlapping action, follow through, and/or arced movement, the animation will look much better even if you use far fewer drawings. Planning takes longer, but it saves a lot of time overall.
To be fair, this was made in a couple of hours I had free one afternoon - the "good" animation just had to be better than the "bad" animation enough to make it work.
