Holy shit, you guys put so much work into this! I never expected that The Sketch Collab would still be going after all this time - let alone attract enough artists to fill 17 entire minutes of screen time! You guys went nuts!

I actually think the length became a net drain in the end, but it's still incredible to see so many talented artists pour so much work into their contributions! Keep it up! Maybe I'll hop back in this year!

Ozone responds:

hope to see you this year!

stevetherapper responds:

Tim I loved your older animations

TheMAM responds:

Ayyye

Wow.

This is really good. I gotta say, I wasn't expecting it to be in Russian (probably shoulda read the Author Comments first :P), but it's still a good flash. And I agree with MadAsHell, it does remind me of Edd. (Go on series and see "Edd's World", I think it's called)
But yeh, good job, and I'm looking forward to more of these.

brysew responds:

Thanks! I think Edd looks like Derek, but my style is other :-)

Not bad. :)

The animation and movement of characters was of a fair quality, the music fitted well, and the backgrounds were very well drawn, but there's definitely room for improvement.
Biggest improvement needed is definitely a preloader. You can download them from Newgrounds, look just above the Audio Portal/Games buttons. Other than that, you could also use a bit of improvement on lip syncing, and the writing at the end could use a bit of formatting, adjusting the layout and size, just to make it look better.
But yeh, nice work here. Keep animating. :)

whooping-crane responds:

Thanks for the comment. I appreciate it.
About the preloader: since I made this to play in the hallway TVs at my school my teacher did not want a play button because it had to play automatically. I uploaded it anyway without any buttons but I'll probably find some time at school to change it and then upload it again.

Not bad.

I'm guessing you're relatively new to flash, and recently watched Animator vs Animation, but still, fair animation for a beginner. Keep practising, and it's probably a good idea to move away from sticks, and you'll get better, no doubt. I think you should probably smooth out the lines a bit, perhaps use a thinner brush, and it would look better.

Keep animating.

poninja responds:

thank you

Nice.

Good animation. I gotta say, it's probably better than my own version, which I only managed to get down to 94 seconds, rather than the 60 you got it to. Although the starting 4 or 5 seconds seemed awfully similar. But that's probably because it's the same play.

Anyways, good voice acting, good animation, good style, and just a good summary of the play overall.

Lazyfeet responds:

Ha, I actually re watched yours straight after I submitted this. Aw, yours is the original man. I love it. Even though you did cheat without having Alonso's story >:)

Ty for the review. *Watches your others*

Wow.

That was really awesome. I think there's a Weekly Award in the pipeline here. Seriously, why hasn't Nintendo hired you yet?
But give us a lil more time to read descriptions. That's my only criticism.

NCH responds:

right click play dude ;)

You finished it?

Wow, I thought this collab failed! Well, well done on submitting it. I thought that dumassstudios had lost my part and my preloader, so seeing this was a bit surprising. Next question is, will there be a Sketch Collab 09?

fredstermaster responds:

Lol, it's hard to believe I know X)
I'm not sure about a skecth collab 09, but I think I'll pass on leading it. I can't go through all that again XP

Well...

I don't know whether or not I should vote 5 or vote 0 on this. On the one hand, the characters are cans of drink (what's with that?) and the voicing, I can only assume, was done on Speakonia. On the other hand, I the fight scene made me laugh. It's a tough one.

antijr responds:

I had to use cans of drink, or some other object simply because I was not given enough time to make a full blown animation. I had two weeks to do this and only had time to work on the weekends. Using objects like that kind of served as a shortcut for me to get this done faster.

Good use of Monorail Cat.

Looking forward to Part 2, although the main character cat's front legs were a little short (half the size they should be).

jiggitysmith responds:

(visual perspective?) Or actually, give me a solid screenshot of what you're talking about and I'll look into it. The most you see his legs are in part 2 (he's usually shown from the waist up).

Too repetitive.

I got to episode 6 and just got bored. Sorry, but no save from me.

murderousturtlesibap responds:

*facepalm*

Its randomly generated content. My comment was ironic, there is no 'end'. cough#1,943

I'm a 20-something British animator based in Halifax, NS. I've been animating since I first found Newgrounds, and am now a graduate with an Animation degree. I've worked for Sun and Moon Studios, A Productions and the BBC, and I hope to do a lot more!
